My Story

I'm Meg, a Texas girl who lives in Louisiana and LOVE being southern!! I'm a mom to 4 amazing kiddos, wife to John of almost 11 years, and Lolli (you know, a cool grandma) to 2 gorgeous grandkids. My family means everything to me. My favorite food is crawfish and fajitas/chips & dip, and I love yellow and turquoise! I'm one of those gals that love being comfortable. Flip flops and yoga pants or being in my pjs with my hair in messy bun are my go to lol, but I do like to dress up from time to time.

I always struggled to find clothes in MY size (thick thighs save lives...or at least your phone if you drop it). I felt self conscious and frumpy trying to fit into petite cuts and sizes. Ok who am I kidding? When I looked in the mirror I felt like a beached whale or that pregnant orangutan. I found myself thinking "that top should be offered in plus!" And then it hit me...kinda like that old 90s R&B song...I could offer any item and any size I want if I had my own boutique. That's when Simply Bee Boutique was born. I've recently added embroidery items. I bought my commercial machine and don't regret it. I love designing and making the most adorable clothing for holidays, events, and Mamas!

Here at SBB you'll find different pieces that are hand selected and if I'm not excited about the piece, I don't bother offering it to you! 90% of the styles SBB offers includes plus options. I mean why would I own a boutique and not offer things that I would personally wear? Come on..how many times do you see a friend and say "OMG I love your dress, where'd you get it?!"
